I have pts for syd-dfw through any seat award so I can gain pts, etc and then paying for return trip.

My ? is does the qf usa site accept aussie c.c. to book the return? I'm sure this is an obvious answer, perhaps I'm getting confused with aa usa site & not accepting oz c.c.

I can't see me getting enough pts. for return trip in the time I want to book & this is an option that is workable for me.

Thanks

The QF site does.
For AA site 90292 is the zip code for Marina del Rey in California.

Be prepared for a one-way fare that is almost identical for a return. It's notoriously difficult to get a sensible price for a one-way ticket back from the US. Some airlines outside One World may be better or you could buy AA miles (see threads on AFF) if there is award availability for DFW-SYD (also not easy!).

Or, if you know you'll be returning to the US during the ticket validity period, then you would be saving a lot of money from buying ex-US tickets rather than ex-AU.

I presume you mean ex-US "Round Trip" tickets ...
