I have gotten myself into a bit of a predicament. I am attempting to book a flight PER - SYD using QF566 (24 Sep, 16:15) with Qantas' Classic Award system. There aren't any seats. I need this flight to marry up with another Qantas regional flight which is already booked.
In the past I have heard of people being able to suddenly clear up some classic seat allocation, so I called Qantas and tried to work a bit of my charm - but as it turns out I wasn't charming enough! I didn't really expect to get anywhere but thought it was worth a shot.
Now I know the story may be old for some, but FF is now my last hope for any light to be shed on my destiny. What are the chances of any frequent flyer seats being made available, given that the fare cost is around $413? It's probably unrealistic for me to bet on any FF seats being cancelled. Should I give up?
