Fiji Airways to Bangkok Air (Operated by Silk Air) baggage interlining - Singapore

Hi Guys,

I have booked (via a travel agent) NAN-SIN-USM Fiji Airways NAN-SIN and then Bangkok Air ticketed but Silk Air operated flight SIN-US it's all on the one reference number both Fiji Airways and Bangkok airways have all flights showing in their systems.

We get in at some horrifying hour in the morning so my plan was to book a Transit hotel have a nap and a shower and just relax for the 6 odd hours we have in transit.

But was just triyng to make sure that Fiji airways interline their luggage onto Silk Air operated flights, cant find their interlining partners online only press releases of ones that have joined.

Just before I go ahead and book the transit hotel just wanted to check.

Don't worry about interline baggage transitting SIN.

If bags are not interlined then go to transfer counter where your next flight departs and they will transfer your luggage manually.

Worse case scenario is you don't collect luggage on arrival, proceed to transit hotel first and then collect your luggage from lost baggage clear immigration and check-in for next flight. Very painless process. I have done this a few times to hage a short break outside.

In worst case, Silk Air has early check in available (provided counters are open - I think they are from about 4-4:30am) , and you can check in up to 48hrs before departure.
