Hi,

I'm looking at trying to get to Tuvalu on points. Is there any way to do this? I can get to Nadi on QF but is there any way to get that Fiji Link flight to Funafuti on points of any kind (seemingly poor value on a cash fare)?

Thank you!

Have looked for years as it's on the bucket list and never seen it in any programme (granted I've never looked via Fiji's own Tabua Club, and they may release it through that, similar to how I've only ever seen, e.g., Lord Howe Island available directly through QF and never partners).

I just assumed it's either subsidised in some way that they exempt it or they just manage to consistently fill the flights even with the high cash fares the route commands that they don't bother to release anything, especially to partners (though that would presume those flights are full, and no idea if that's the case).

At the risk of stating the obvious, have you tried calling Qantas? I have had good luck over the years obtaining award seats on the NAN-TRW sector (admittedly that is on Fiji Airways, not Fiji Link) but, as that sector is not available to book online through QF, I have always had to call. Given the high cost of revenue seats I have found it to be a good use of points.
