Hi guys!

Has anyone done Finnair ex SIN thru to LHR recently in economy or premium economy?
What was your experience?
Would love to hear how it went and any recommendations etc
Also, is it easy to transfer in HEL and use the Finnair lounge?

Did SIN-HEL-CDG recently.
How much time do you have between your flights?

Since you are going non-schengen to non-schengen I am not sure if you need to go through passport control at HEL. The non-schengen lounge is very nice actually. And it is very quiet at the time AY132 lands and so was the passport control.

Enjoy your trip.

If you are taking SIN-HEL in economy, I'd highly recommend you buy an Economy Comfort seat. A small cost but is roomier than the normal Y seat (+3" legroom). I've used this a few times (to SIN, HKG and SFO) and it feels much nicer. Finnair has now also PE on that route and the price seems to be very reasonable.

Helsinki airport has grown a lot in recent years and the distances from end to end need a bit of time but it's pretty logical. The info signs are frequent and good. The Finnair non-Schengen lounge is pretty central distance-wise, you'll reach your gate in max 5-7 minutes from there - and the business lounge can be blissfully quiet.
