Finnair Y+ - how credited to QFF

Good morning,

I was looking into some Y+ flights from Australia to Europe on AY and tried to find out how many status credits and qff points I would get.

That seems to be more tricky than expected.
The calculator on the QF website doesn’t have the option to select Y+ for AY flights which seems to be odd.
The AY website does state the booking class when you select the flight, so i checked where to credit, but the result just didn’t seem right.

Class W: credits as discount economy
Class E: doesn’t credit at all

Anyone here already flown Y+ tickets on AY and can share their experience?

Hi, I have, and despite flying in Y+, I had no credits(SC) come through or Points. I thought it strange, but the booking class did not give me the privilege because of being a cheaper booking class, i.e. less $$. The same happened for the business class seat.

According to the Airline Earning Tables on Qantas.com, both E and W on Finnair should credit as Premium Economy for flights taken after 11 May 2022.

Do you know what fare class you were booked in, and when the flight was? I suspect most likely you're owed points and you should open a claim with Qantas. Hopefully you have a hardcopy or photo of your boarding pass.

I Applied Twice (made a claim)via the website, and I have the boarding pass. However, despite that have been rejected.

Rejection reason? Can't find you on the flight or booking class not eligible?

Hi Yes, the reason is booking a class. ( I was not paying attention when booking) I had a Business class seat but no SC and No Points.
