I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting any first class redemptions on Singapore Airlines (SQ) or Etihad (EY) via Velocity?

I see Qatar (QR) has sprinkles of premium awards but could not find anything for European Summer 2023 season.

I previously read somewhere that you need to contact the call center but when I enquired about SQ they said it wasn't available on this carrier

Just wondering what peoples experiences were and if there are suggestions?

You can book EY or QR F if it's available.

First redemptions on SQ are not currently possible using Velocity points (and haven't been since 2020). I believe it does say this on the Velocity website.

Do you still need to call Velocity to check availability/ redeem EY flights?

I haven't seen any on both QR & EY flights

on SQ, will this return?

If available they will show up online. But there needs to be availability in that class of travel on all sectors. E.g. if EY has F available AUH-LHR but only J from SYD-AUH and you search SYD-LHR, it won't show on the Virgin Australia website. You'd need to call if you wanted to make a mixed-class booking.

Velocity hasn't said when SQ F redemptions will return.
