First Qantas A220 revealed

I value my QF SG MUCH higher than my VA WP.

Each to their own; I value QF WP higher than VA WP overall because of the benefits flying OneWorld and FLounge when flying internationally, but domestically I think I'll have to give it to VA, due to devaluation in QF WP benefits over the past years (mainly call centre access), and free VA Economy-X.

I checked my seating for upcoming flights where B737 and B717s have been subbed for the A220s. Unchanged. (All in biz 🤣 )

I had a schedule change notice today for 737 to 220 (exact same times) and was offered new flights. So I took one of the alternatives and gained an additional 36 SC's for my 2026 WP membership.

Great aircraft these Airbus (Bombardier) 220's.

Just looked at my weekend flight which is now inside T-80 - i stand corrected.

4&5 are foc

13&14 are $$

Must be the 13&14 opened up at T-24. Will check again In due course.

Apologies for erroneous info.

ET's article has pictures of the cabin divider

it's kinda... small, but then again on this side there's only two Y seats so maybe it doesn't need to be that wide.
Think I'll choose to sit in second row of J on the right, rather than the second row on the left given this.

cabin divider even smaller than the one on 737. Now with a hold in the middle too.

when are they gonna bring back the privacy curtain on narrow body aircraft? 🧐

That tiny awkward looking piece so called a divider just cheapens the whole pointy end. Bland yuk, rather pointless.

Is there another piece that's missing, Shirley.

Throw in WP to pay for seats up front, nah fail imo.

I assume the divider is like that to allow clearance for how the A220 bins open, but for some reason they didn't want to attach a movable piece to the bin itself (like on the 737)
