I had my first trips on the A220 (MEL-HBAvv) last week. Outbound in Y and inbound in J. Sat on the port side outbound in the 2 abreast section. I thought the seat and cabin were well-appointed and comfortable. Inbound J seemed very similar to usual QF narrow body J arrangements, save the seats are better appointed with gadgets to hold personal screen devices.
I very rarely fly in the Y cabin, but I was pleasantly surprised on this occasion and for short haul I'd gladly travel in this Y cabin.
