If you want the chance of some "scrambled eggs", I suggest you be in the lounge well before 8:30 - soon after that time any hot breakfast food is removed.

No gold rimmed plates, the OJ is freshly poured into the chiller out of large bottles and the super models will be in the CL.

mrs ejb was there this morning around 9.30am and there was very little on offer.

Coffee and toast kept her happy until she boarded the 744 for Perth.

Try Scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, bacon, sautéed tomato, baked beans, hash browns, sautéed spinach & more.

I have seen the eggs and any other three of these out on various days in various J lounges around 8am.

Strange they had toasted cheese and tomato paninii, croissant and something else in the pizza servery area, plus the usually glasses of Birchers museli with walnuts. Maybe morning tea, but croissants are breaky food for me. And there were no scones. Nor hot food.

never seen hot food but I'm rarely in a J lounge for breakfast, only on weekends in BNE and MEL in the last 12 months. No hot food on those 3 occasions.

Last few times in J lounge in Brisbane for early flights there has been scrambled eggs with either tomato type stuff or mushrooms(yuk)...

I also like the fact in the morning the coffee line is not a mile long like the QP...

The afternoon/dinner service wasn't bad a few weeks ago.. It was a curry...

The QF gods have smiled. Not only was my luggage checked in by OzBeachBabe but there were scrambled eggs on golden plates (White ceramic gold but none the less!)
