Hello all fellow flyers.

It's been a year of work travel - and thats tough on the other half stuck at home alone

But the reward is I'm finally WP and so we'll finally make it into the Sydney FIrst Lounge in a few weeks.

But alas the guilt kicks in as we're travelling with 3 friends - we have to Lounge Passes for 2 - so we can let them loose in the Business Lounge for a glass of local bubbles - but we are obviously one pass short and we can't pick which friend will be locked out!

Would any members have a pass which is about to expire which they could part with?

We've be happy to make a donation to a charity of your choice if that would help

Happy flying

I'd be surprised if they didn't let the extra one in, especially as a WP. I've had extra one few times always let them in.

You could also check out the meetings and social events forum to see if someone is traveling on the same day and might be willing to guest one of your party.

If you ask Winston or Nestor politely at the 1st Lounge - i'm sure they will allow two guests into the 1st lounge. The dilemma is which friend to take to the 1st Lounge? :D

That may get you through the entrance but you then need to get past the agents at the top of the escalator who scan your BP.

Good luck!

I assume when you say you are travelling with three friends, there are five of you, and don't like you chances getting that many into. However, you might be able to get three into the J Lounge while you better half/partner whatever looks around the shops downstairs, and when your friends are settled, get you and your other pax straight into the FLounge. I am sure that if you explain this to your friends they will understand. If you are just attaining WP you have done a lot of travel and most likely been the Flounge as a guest, so don't miss it.

Edit: I know you are supposed to stay with guests etc etc whilst in the lounge.

If you're number is 5 you have no chance in the F lounge.

I'd say you'd be very lucky to get a total of 3 in.

What day are you travelling?

There is an easier way without soliciting a pass.

Go into the Business Lounge with one of the friends and guest them into the lounge. The other 2 can enter with the Qantas Lounges passes you will give them.

Then quietly exit the business lounge and go to the First Class lounge with your wife.

As far as I understand there is nothing in the terms and conditions of lounge entry that says you cannot visit both lounges in the one day. Good luck....

Welcome to AFF.

I hope you can find a way to get access for one of your friends.

Unfortunately, soliciting for such passes is against the terms of agreement for membership of this site and I must close this thread.
