Will be in SFO next week, wife's birthday on Thursday, any recommendations for Fisherman's Wharf or any other good seafood restaurants.

When I was there three years ago ... Great Vietnamese restaurant ... Can't remember the name.

Not been to SFO for few years, yes Sausalito great place to eat seafood sitting on sundeck over the water, the ferry ride was excellent too.

China town another place for seafood plus Italian restaurants were really good.

and a must do is visit Alcatraz.

+ 1 for Alcatraz, but make sure you book well in advance.

As for seafood, the wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Scomas while we were there.

Not seafood, but I'd recommend heading to AT&T Park to see the Giants play.....and ordering Garlic Fries. And if they are playing the hated LA Dodgers there will be plenty of good natured banter in the crowd.
