On my long return home from OzFest, I'm spending a day at OOL, flying up in JQ J and returning on DJ.

Sadly, received an email notification a few hours ago advising that my flight was being changed - and to a later flight which would make it too tight for comfort with my QF connection from SYD-PER that evening.

While the contact number in the email had already gone home for the day, one call to Guest Services, and before I could open my mouth they'd already had the info of the flight change on screen and immediately asked me if that was suitable. He even had a clear answer as to why the flight had changed.

With a few keystrokes, a supervisor, and 2 1/2 minutes on hold - it was changed to an earlier flight without any hassle.

This is the kind of service I expect and love - pleasant, integrated, thinking ahead and flawless. It's also only the 3rd time I've flown DJ, and every time things just work perfectly. No hassles, problems or holdups. Just a shame the flight changed as I wanted to be on an E190 and not their 737's :(

Thats reassuring to know with my first DJ flight less than a month away, DJ staff have always been nothing but polite to me on the phone and I just hope their service is consistent right across the board.

Otherwise ........ Well it will be back to QF for me to say the least:mrgreen:

Josh, do have a read of my blog on here - I've only just started flying DJ and on the whole they've been v good. It's refreshing being looked after by ground/air crew that seem to enjoy their job.

There have been a few things I haven't enjoyed, but it's mostly just a repeat of the existing complaints folk here have.
