Hi all, just trying my best to somehow get to qantas platinum this year and my anniversary year is 30 June. Have booked a bunch of flights that will definitely get me to platinum but the question now is more around the flying conditions. All were booked during the DSC promo.

I was wondering if DSCs get impacted if i change the date of my flights? For example i have flexi sydney to perth tickets in june that were booked through amex travel. If i moved them forward to April, will my DSCs still be valid? My gut feeling is it should be as if not whats the point of booking flexi, but keen to hear anyone's views.

As long as your new flights are before 14 Feb 2021 you will still get DSC.

The DSC is linked to the PNR (Booking Reference). This doesn't change when you change your flights.

Thanks for that. Does that only include change of dates/times of the same route or would i be able to also change route. For example instead of sydney to Perth return, i travel Brisbane to Perth return.

You can also change the routing as well. Route changes require you to either contact Qantas or you can self service via Manage Booking to cancel the flight to a voucher (not cash - this is important) and you can use the voucher to rebook with different routing. The voucher uses the existing PNR, so it is still eligible for DSC.

Also note that the vouchers are taking a few days to process at the moment.

Thats really useful information. I'm wondering if i had a brisbane to sydney flexi ticket that i wanted to change into brisbane to perth, a top up amount would be required as its a more expensive ticket. Any ideas as to whether the DSC will still be honoured in such an instance?
