For those interested the US website flightaware has expanded to Australia. This incorporates the Mobile apps and all the flight info to and from and within Australia.
Sme members maybe familiar with flightaware's products but if not they have the ability to track flights and aircraft across Australia. Not only does it track flights but you can see the actual flight plan track of the flights that have been taken as well as what is planned etc; It is great for checking out what flights are overhead, or if I are suffering from a delay you can find out exactly where the inbound aircraft is.
This is flightaware's first foray outside the US. I've done some testing of it throughout the day on the website and the iPad app and it works really well.
