Hey All,

My parents and I will be traveling back for a wedding and I was hoping to get my parents into the Flounge. My father has been a gold QFF before so he's been in the normal lounge but never had a chance to visit the SYD Flounge.

Now I'm not going to try and get all three of us in, what I was hoping to do is get my father and mother in and I'll just duck off (maybe to the j lounge).

Will they allow me to substituted my spot?

Any pointers on this would be much appreciated.

I suspect that the answer would be no however an early phone enquiry would/could be useful.

Also post on the appropriate thread to see who else may be traveling on your flight.

If you are Platinum FF status and are travelling with them, then you could just swap boarding passes with your father after clearing immigration and swap back again just before boarding. Then your father can enter as a "platinum" with your mother as his guest travelling on the same flight. If you father no longer has status or lounge membership then you will not be able to gain lounge access yourself.

+1 What an awesome suggestion!

Then simply enter the J lounge with your father (mumbling "meeting someone there" if the "dragons" suggest you go to the F lounge:mrgreen:), leave your mother outside, and your father can then leave the J lounge shortly thereafter, with your BP and take your mother into the F lounge.

As mentioned by NM simply swap boarding passes after immigration.

If you are going with this suggestion though make sure your father guests you into the Business Lounge first and then he can go off with your mother and visit the First Lounge.

Just hope that they do not ask to see ID/passport.

Brilliant thanks guys...

Will do the J guest + boarding pass swap method =)
