Hope the police can flush him out of hiding

I read the story this morning, and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how cash was being transported so insecurely that anyone with access to the plane would have been able to get to it.

Secondly, I would have thought that a police or customs officer would have had to go with you if you were leaving an airport without clearing customs (specially in an ambulance) so that the necessary checks could have been completed at the most appropriate time. I'm a little surprised that the ambulance officers let the 'patient' walk away without restraining him or calling the appropriate airport authorities.

The mind boggles sometimes.

It was in the cargo hold, so one would have though fairly limited access. How would you propose they transport it?

The real question is - How did he know it was there?
