I wonder when the mods will elevate Flybuys to a separate sub like WWR? Seriously Flybuys is now ahead of WWR and is now more then a shopping program like Myer One.

Score! Everyone in the family got this offer (three accounts) - good offer, although no doubt it won't be popular with some.

Yes please! Flybuys has really taken off as a rewards program for your keen FF!

Very interesting news, especially for xmas. Its marketing genius. Almost guarantees coles group increased sales for xmas period. Not that i'm complaining. Depending on spends but with two months around xmas with work functions, visitors, xmas, boxing day and new years eve, you could easily pick up 10 (double status) or more status credits without going overboard in december alone. Will obviously help to maintain status level.

Does anyone know if this offer also means you can earn double the monthly SC limit?

The T&Cs for the normal status credit offer say you can earn "...up to a maximum of 10 per month." To do so you'd need a $1000 spend.

But if the limit of 10 per month applies during the double SC offer then is any spend over $500 wasted from an SC point of view?

I got 16 last month from an $800 spend total. I think you are safe.

Great thanks. but I think I've worked out it's a futile chase.

I need 52SC by mid Feb with only one 15SC booked. No other travel likely in that timeframe. Leaving 37SC from shopping.

If I max out the 20 SC this month leaves 17SC required.

I'm overseas for half of Jan, so even if I wanted to hit 10SC I reckon it's it stretch.

And I'd still be 7SC short unless the Feb ones post early.

I think I am chasing the same goal as you.

I received 20 sc's for November spend > $1K ...

Unless VA introduce lifetime bennies they are not useful to me as I have already requalified WP but won't get near enough for status gifting.

I'd be looking at booking an MR late Jan/early Feb ...
I'm trying to bring forward some work travel but it seems unlikely.

In the unlikely event I chase the last 52 SC, does paying with gift cards matter? I figure they don't care about the payment method, but just checking.

Does not matter how it's booked - just need to get those 7 SC's.

10 can be earned with any single domestic flight before 30th January (or 5 after then with the cheapest economy fares).

Can confirm that Bunnings gift cards earn FB pts and the spend counted for Status Credits.
Note: They do not activate a weekly spend offer though (although as per other posts, they probably increase the weekly spend offer amount next time around.

Also, while I was lucky to have earnt the full 20 SC's in Dec, the activity is recorded against 31Dec which means they didn't pool to my partner for her to requalify gold (I changed the pooling on 1 Jan after 75k NAB poooled across). Usually the activity date is the day before, eg 05Jan

I would also note this month I was being pooled to from my partner (on 31 Dec) and the status that came to me was 0, and the 6 SC's she earnt stayed with her. Glitch maybe.....

anyways still an EPIC status credit fail after so much work :(.
Will have to do a status run (for the credits) and stay at the Hilton in Sydney with the Amex offer.
