On arrival into FRA for a connecting flight to LHR I was ushered quickly into the Sakura Lounge. I wasn't really impressed. I'm flying from FRA to LHR again tomorrow and I want to know if I can use other affiliated lounges or whether this is where BA people must while away the hours between flights. Any advice be greatly appreciated!

There is a CX lounge there , but it's never open when I'm there. I dislike the Sakura F lounge and having to walk out into the business lounge for the toilet. Why not just sit in the business lounge. Whilst the lounge is small and offerings are minimal - there are seats and drinks. With Ipad - can relax.

If you're oneworld Sapphire or Emerald then you can use another oneworld lounge if it's open. I agree the JAL lounge at FRA is ordinary.

According to the CX site it's open from 06:00 ~ 14:00.

I'm flying FRA-LHR on the 23rd and had thought about using it, but my flight's at 18:40 so it will be the JAL F lounge for me.
