FlyingClub Expiry - 3 years

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone here has been hit with the Virgin Atlantic 3 year flyingclub membership expiry?

I transferred a chunk of my American Express Membership Rewards points the Virgin Atlantic. I'm now saddened to find out that they've cancelled my membership without advice.

Has anyone managed to re-activate their account and re-establish their points balance.

I never have this experience. I am always wary of the expiry dates of miles and accounts.

Looks like Virgin Atlantic is reluctant to re-issue expired points.
I guess they'll be no further loyalty to Virgin Atlantic from here onwards now!
