Foreign exchange with Qantas Platnum

I used My Qantas Platinum with USA Amazon and paid in $Au Qantas still charged the foreign exchange fee
I have use other cards that did not anyone else had this happen

Happens with a number of cards where the biller is determined to be foreign, despite the charge being in AUD.

Agree it's a rort (and even worse if you'd chosen DCC to get the charge in AUD)

Been an issue for a number of years.
