In order to receive a boarding pass to an AUS mobile with Global Roaming, from UK (or possibly Ireland):- when I provide our mobile number in international format, (61 407xx_xx_) do I include a leading '+' character and do I need to preceed that with their country's dial out code?

Very easy blu - +61407xx_xx_ - no spaces - no inter codes - just the + / 61 For Oz / your number without the zero at front - they will work it out from there.

And to make life easy for yourself ALWAYS input numbers into your contacts in this format - will make life so much simpler for yourself sooner or later.

Thanks that what I thought. I'm dealing with an LCC, no viable alternatives unfortunately (that don't have propellers).

Not to throw a spanner in the works, but on certain sites they do not want the '+'

I can think of 3 airlines just here in Asia I use that I must drop the + or the mobile boarding pass won't be sent.

So for me it is 66xx_xx_xx_ and not +66xx_xx_XX (I use a Thai number as my primary mobile, swap out country prefix as required)

So best to check in the on-page instructions
