As this is my first new thread - apologies if this is else where, don’t do the right thing or generally just stuff it up.
In my never-ending search for cheaper ways to get to the UK in the best possible seats I have stumbled onto this.
Qantas are running a 4 class 747 into FRA on some days via SIN. The bookings are whY and J but seating included a 1-2-1 for J and 2-4-2 for Y. If this is not new my apologies but as a cheaper way to get into Europe and with the ability to pre select seating Y+ or F seats, it might (for higher status) be a good way to go and for the rest of us an opportunity to maybe get a better seat at check in. Its certainly not every day, mostly mid week Thursdays are best.
