I am not sure if this is a targetted email promotion, but this morning I had an email from BMI DC offering 2500 destination miles for answering six questions. The questions are basically about the recent joining of DC - like many others I joined with the free 9000 miles offer.
I hope I get to use these miles at some stage.

I hope just to be able to access my account at some stage :)

openseat,

I got this also. Six very open and easy questions for 2500 miles.

Thanks BMI.

Only saw this e-mail because of this post... Takes a while to load but hopefully another 2,500 miles in my BMI account. :)

When I saw the title of the email (We'd like to know how we could reward you more) I thought "hmmm, you could give me more miles for not flying with you". And they did! :D:D:D

just looked back through my emails..

There was an offer back in Feb to join eRewards, but was only 250 back then....which I ignored...or rather did not even read!!

Maybe that is why I got this 2500 plus the 500 for joing eRewards this time.

Sometimes it pays to be slow!!!;)

Had a nice surprise..

I obtained the 3000 points for my wife's account too...and logged in to check her details to see an account balance of 18,000 rather than just 9000 points!!!

Checked mine too, but only 9000 points. Still one should be grateful as that is 33000 points now for no cost and not much effort:lol:

This is my type of FF program;)

Yes, got mine too.

However, I'm not at all impressed with eRewards (is it a bit of a scam?)

I signed up for it, and requested the Hertz 15-GBP-off joining award. After I did a bit of research, I found this was completely worthless, as I could get the same price just walking in off the street.

I won't be using their services (or doing any of the surveys) in the future ...

If there was an erewards.com.au that gave Qantas or Velocity points I might be interested!

I got the survey too. An Easy 2500 miles bonus really.

Keep in mind that BMI is possibly going to be taken over by another airline in the near future, and a healthy Frequent Flyer balance/member list will of course help increase it's value!
