Forget the card, print a boarding pass at the kiosk or use mobile check in which should reflect your status.

Wouldn't being comped to CL be the equivalent to winning the Lottery??

Re the previous advise on printing your BP to gain Lounge access: if your ticket was booked prior to the "gaining" of SG, then take your QFF number off your booking and then re-add it. There are lots of threads out there suggesting that status is applied to a booking at time of purchase rather than at check-in.

Just received the Gold Card and the Q tags in a package....
Red Roo confirmed my membership is upgraded...On the letter it mention because i am a loyal member so i have been upgraded until Nov 2014 ...
Pretty happy i am the choosen one
Do they send the Gold card with a 1 year expiry date? So it will get replaced every year if you can retain the status?

That's really great for you. I'd like to get my gold package. I qualified the hard way on 8 November and am still waiting. Can't activate and earn 500 bonus points on my Qantas Cash card 'cause my silver one is dead. Can't load and can't spend to earn bonus points, but Qantas keep sending me reminder emails urging me to. Hopefully my gold pack turns up before I qualify for platinum. I'll just wait... RANT OVER.

Congratulations.

The new Gold membership card is valid for one year and QF will send you a new one if you can retain Gold for the next membership year. In my case, I was 10 SC short as at the date my new membership kit was sent out but a flight on the last weekend of November did got me over the line officially (only just).

My little rant last night has paid off. My gold pack was in today's mail. Now, hopefully, I can activate my new cash card and get the 500 bonus points.
