I did search and found, somewhat surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be any book recommendations thread. So here goes.

What are some interesting books on flying? I'm not asking about advice books (how to collect/spend points), but rather interesting stories from people who fly a lot, be it pilots, crew or frequent flyers. Which one have you read and enjoyed. Extra points if it's available on Kindle.

I enjoyed reading Richard de Crespigny's book "QF32". A great insight into the event, as well as Richard's pilot training, life and Qantas.

From Worst to First - Gordon Bethune

About the near death experience of Continental Airlines in the mid 1990s.

The Fall of the Sky Gods - How the original start up Pan Am pilots nearly crashed the airline through their big egos.

And there was one I can't remember the name of, about Eastern Air's financial collapse and Frank Lorenzo's inability to deal with things using logic and reason.
