I am flying Singapore Airlines to London return, I am a Virgin Velocity member and have used that membership number in the booking. Should i join Singapore Airlines frequent flyer as well to get their points? Or will I get the same points through virgin? I am confused...

You can only credit to one or the other. Check the fare class of your booking to see which program will be best.

voleoos Welcome to the forum
Freq Flyer programs are about long term travel rewards
If you live in Aust & will only travel with Singapore once or infrequent not worth joining.: put all your points into Velocity where possible

Thank you both for your responses. It is unlikely that i will fly with Singapore in the next 12 months (after this trip) as i intend heading to the US in 2013. So i will leave it with my Virgin points. Thanks for your advice:D
