Longtime lurker, first time poster.

Having started a new job I will have the opportunity to increase my work travel after a number of years of low travel volume. An upcoming trip I will be travelling to ZRH via SIN from MEL on Singapore Air and was interested in utilising the Aegean Miles&Bonus to gain *G status, however I believe the class booking is N which does not get mileage accrual.

If so, does anyone know of the best way to utilise my mileage between MEL and ZRH in gaining the best of the route with Singapore.

The choice of airline was out of my control for this trips, I will likely utilise OW airlines for future trips benefiting from QP access. Likely to be doing this trip 3 times a year, with 3 trips to AKL and various domestic trips out of MEL, all will be booked Economy.

I currently have low status in VAust Velocity, AirNZ Airpoints and QFF.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

According to this page on SQ you can earn KF Miles for N class booking at the rate of 50%. - https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub-krisflyer/EarnMiles_SQMI/

According to this page, no points earned if you use Velocity - Points Earn with Airline Partners | Velocity Frequent Flyer

Looks like you can join the SQ program for free and earn 10,000 miles for this return journey. (About 10,000 miles each way x 50%).

With that many miles it's not going to get you far, perhaps a side trip out of SIN one day in the next three years before the miles expire.

Even if it doesn't excite you now, always worth accruing the miles as you might have an SQ windfall in the future.

Happy travels.
