Friendly reminder to check your bonus points on Amex Plat Reserve and others

I just had a spend at La Porchetta coming through as 1x point rather than 3x points despite it showing as a 'restaurant' in the transaction listing. Spoke to customer service who said that the rewards system and the merchant classification system are not linked.

So do check your points on a regular basis!

Filled up my car at Woolies with the Plat Edge and ended up only getting 1x not 2x.

LOL at the response I've received from Amex. They reckon I've burnt my 300 threshold but unfortunately I haven't spent anywhere remotely near the amount what it will take...
