Hi,
I am based in Melbourne and travel interstate probably 20 odd times a year, largely to Perth and Sydney. My main overseas destinations are China and New Zealand, about 4 times each, and another couple of trips to conferences that are held in varying locations each year.
Most commonly I'll use QF, NZ, SQ & CX although some destinations require other airlines from time to time (eg within China). Also, if I find a better fare I'll use someone like EK. I found this forum when I investigated if new J seats were on the CX flights out of Melbourne yet. Inevitably I got sidetracked by the wealth of information and tips on the site and decided to join up. Hopefully I can provide a few useful bits of information myself from time to time.
On the CX seats question, i must say I got thoroughly confused by the discussion on 33B's, 33E's and 77W's etc on the flyertalk forum and am not yet confident that I found the answer. I think it was, "they have been rolled out on SYD flights and MEL will follow soon." Can anyone confirm this in layman's terms?
Thanks and I look forward to joining in on the odd discussion.
Michael.
