Hi there,
New to the forum, discovered it a couple of weeks ago and have found it really valuable, and would like to become a regular part of it. I've only signed up as a free member but will shortly upgrade to Gold. Spent some hours in the past couple of days browsing a lot of threads, trying to figure out what everything meant, finding the helps threads, and learning as I went Still got a long way to go but hopefully I'll get there!
Based in Sydney I'm a QF Silver member, usually bordering on Gold but probably won't get there this status year - hopefully next one! I'm also a member of VA but haven't paid much attention to it, just had it because I didn't want points to go to waste when flying Virgin from SYD-MEL. I'm also a member of A-Club because my favourite hotel in Melbourne (Swanston Grand Mercure) is part of this program.
I fly to SYD-MEL-SYD about 5-7 times a year - this will probably increase heavily in the next 3 months as my new role at work involves travelling the route to see customers a lot more. In terms of International, within the last 18 months I've done two trips to USA (as well as domestic routes while there), a trip to Dubai, and a trip to Vanuatu - so I'm not a heavy flyer, but I guess moderate?
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
