Hi all,

I joined QFF a few years ago when I was living in the UK and so avoided the joining fee. I have since moved to Aus and I have tried to get the card so that I can use it at the various partner shops etc. Every time I ask about the card, I am told that I have to pay (either cash or points) the equivalant of the joining fee to get it. Is there a way around this?

I am NB by the way.

any help is appreciated.

I think getting a card is about $25/$30 whereas you would have paid $82.50 to join the QF FF program if you'd been living in Australia at the time.

If you have changed your address to Australia you will get one of the new cards soon!

If you have the physical card all you need to do is change your address.

If you have lost the card then you need a replacement (this has a fee). However Qantas are presently issuing new cards (although not for NBs at this point) and the replacement fee is being reduced (to $10 I think)

If you have no points or only expired points in your old account you could also open a new one using the Woolworths method

With all that said above, bear in mind that a QFF card wont be of any use in Woolworths, that sort of card can be obtained for free, just making sure you use the same name for that card as your QFF account to link them.

Thanks all, I will ask the QFF people about it.

I have changed my address to Aus, but no luck on the card. I am doing a fiar bit of travelling (well more than I normally do) over the coming months and I wanted to benefit from crediting hotel stays etc to the FF account.

Again, thanks for everything

I am not sure what benefit you will get from a card, all you need is the number!

Useful for swiping in restaurants I suppose.

I paid for my sisters card a year or so ago, phoned them up, they couldn’t divulge any personal details and I told them I didn’t want them to, just to debit my account and send her the card, they managed to do it somehow.

And not everyone remembers all the different card numbers they have, guess you could write it down, but a card or bit of paper will get ripped and faded faster than a plastic card ;)

I've logged into my QFF account often enough to know it by heart.
