I don't see myself using the plat upgrades.

Can I fly Y (non Flexi) but gift them to someone (AFFer) who has paid for a Flexi ticket on the same flight? I figure someone might as well use them. Do you HAVE to be on the same PNR?

p.s. I don't have any VA flights booked so far but was having a light bulb moment:idea: If possible I'm happy to list it somewhere when I do book. Still need 3 eligible sectors before mid August so plenty of time.

No - yourself and others travelling with you on the same flight.

In general the answer would be No, but it can't hurt to ask.

I have upgraded my partner previously when on seperate PNR (but same flight and same class).

I think it depends on the situation and the agent you speak to.
