Works on the Cellular at Sea Service that many lines use, other than Crystal and Cunard, and seemingly on most ships.

Possibly a big saving for those who don't need unlimited data, etc. just using for emails and socials.

And obviously not the speeds of the ships that are also adding StarLink coverage.

A good suggestion in comments that you should pair it with a separate land only eSim plan for shore journeys which would have much cheaper data when you are off ship.
