Was having a cruddy boxing day so decided to go shopping online.
The need was a new medicine/pills and bits hard case for travelling
Currently use a small make up hard case and thought I need a new one and in pink.
Flipping heck the new case is going to be pushing it to make hand luggage limits.
Note to self next time check the dimensions not just the pretty picture

I just bought something on line and was amazed how cheap it was with shipping so pushed the button - it was $US not $A - aaargh

I did that recently with an order. I thought the website had converted over to $AUS but it was still showing in USD. I decided to go ahead with the purchase anyway as it was an item that wasn't available in Australia.

It wasn't too bad it was the same price as I'd pay in $A normally just thought I'd got a bargain

2 cameras purchased this morning.....
Do tell, what kind/brand?

I had the same thing as mrsterryn one time when I ordered a nice 'little' pink Molton Brown bag to hold makeup - turned out to be quite large though I do use it for first aid stuff when we travel just not the handbag size I was expecting. o_O:rolleyes:

Mrsterryn, hope that things have improved since Boxing Day for you.

Ahhh we can't.. grandson's first birthday on the 27th Dec
Son would be distinctly unimpressed if we got held up by snow lol
My trip for then has me coming home Dec 6. Husband isn't even coming lol

A major one for MrP who has decided he needs to get into photography but he does have a work product in mind. And an underwater one for Alaska.

Funny after our Christmas this year we have decided to make sure we are away next year!

We just can’t do it. It seems most of the extended family will be in Prague and pretty sure that first son and new wife will be in UK leaving just one son home alone. We will be missing his 30th in January anyway so any plans have had to take into account Christmas lunch anyway will be at home.

Same birthday as my brother - though he turned 75 this year. My mother was thankful that Dad died on Boxing Day not the day after (24 yrs ago, my how time flies)

me too - and it will be colder - MUCH colder
But other than today and the other 41 degree day I was just saying last night that this Christmas weather has been near perfect.

Ahhh yes...we had one of those many many years my first son passed away and was buried on my mother's birthday
Have to say I was pleased grandson didn't come very early as my mother's date of death was Dec 10th (three years ago )

My idea of perfect weather is if it doesn't get above 25 :)
