Gold Coast Airport place to store a bag?

Is there a place to store a bag early morning at Coolangatta Airport?

I'm doing something crazy... okay maybe totally insane, but since I couldn't find a steady job in Brisbane as I had hoped, I've decided to get away from Australia for a few weeks and go back to France.

Since AirFrance.com.au was broken and the guy on the other end of the phone couldn't help either, I ended up booking BNE-SIN-CDG-CFE-CDG-SIN-SYD... obviously the last leg puts me in the wrong airport and in the wrong state the day before my trip to Malaysia on AirAsia X's amazing $160 return fare...


So I had to dip into my QF points (there were very cheap fares that day but not the flight I wanted, oh well... its not like its easy to redeem points with Qantas for what you want anyway, I guess I got lucky) and booked an early morning JetStar flight... which again thew me for a loop... leaving Sydney 6:10am arriving Gold Coast 6:35am (is it daylight savings or something? but doesn't that usually kick in at like 2am?) We are on the same time zone aren't we?



Anyway, so after a 30 hour flight back from the South Central France... and a full day/night in Sydney, I'll be heading back to Southern Asia even though I'll be in Singapore less than 24 hours before... Oh well, I love flying, but I don't want to take my bag with me... so I'm hoping to find a place to dump it at or near the airport between the Sydney and the Kuala Lumpur flights.


Ideas?

Can't answer your other questions, but, yes, it is daylight saving.

This begins in NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS & SA on October 4th. The but not the other states/territory as they do not have daylight saving.

There are lockers under an awning near the carpark pay machines outside the terminal. About $5 per use.

I think that may get a little pricey, given I had the impression the OP wanted to leave a bag for an extended period while he took a trip to Malaysia and back.... $48 per day may not be attractive.

yeah for that kind of money I'm better off leaving it in Sydney and flying to pick it up another time.

I'm pretty sure there's a baggage storage facility just out front near the parking ticket validation machine.
