Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you all in on a great parking company i have been using for about a year now. Its called Gold Coast Airport Parking (GCAP). There not the actual parking at the Gold Coast Airport but are a valet parking service. I travel constantly for work and they have saved me more then a few bucks. its great service and all the employees are extremly nice and helpfull. I have looked around and they are the cheapest by far, also very convienient, just drop your car there and they take you to the front door of the terminal! Great not having to drag my bag through the car park at the airport only to get back from my trip to see huge price for parking.

The website is goldcoastairportparking.com.au

Anyways hope this help you save a bit of money!

Bye for now!

Cheapest, yes. Best service, no. They can be very tardy with getting you onto the courtesy bus - I've had to wait for 25mins before, which meant I only managed to check into my international flight with 60s to spare (yes my fault for cutting it fine, I know, but they could have easily gotten us there a lot sooner).

If it was it would be a commercial post and not permitted, and using our mod magic I can say we dont believe it to be a commercial post .

It's not that big a deal. A lot of my travel is OOL- SYD on the same day and I can park at the airport for between $17 and $21 ( less if I am on an earlier flight ). I then walk to and from the terminal in less than a minute with no waiting for a shuttle. This mob want $20 plus the wait.

Having said that, their rates become attractive if you leave your car there for several days.

Parking at the terminal is only $15 a day, $11 after 5days. Ive parked there a few time always spaces, and not far to walk to to the teminal. There is also an undercover, never used it but its only about $20 a day

Well the private parking i use is $4.00 a day... So you do the math.
Its alot more secure and friendly then airport staff.

The Gold Coast airport? how do you gather that? compare a 10 day stay at Gold Coast Airport goldcoastairport.com.au, to a 10 day stay at goldcoastairportparking.com.au.

the second is a private valet parking company.

Or compare an overnight trip:

A ten day stay at either would be bordering on "bugger it, a hire car is cheaper" territory!

Sorry i dont do any overnight trips so i wasnt taking that into consideration. But after 2 days they are cheaper. most of my flights are around the 5 day mark so i save a bit. at the airport its $75.00 for 5 days and with the company i use its $54.00 (Outdoor rates coz i have a bomb that sttays outside anyway :P ) And seriously.. im paying cheaper and i get dropped at the front door of the airport, then when i get back they present it to you at there parking facility so you can just drive away. I just think the service is great. Last time i was there they did a great job and i was extremely satisfied. I told them i would do what ever i could to support them because they are a small company trying to make it big. So here i am!

My reference was. You said

Whereas cheapest rate here:

is $5/day - for 60 days.
1-day rates are $24/20.

Thus how do you get $4/day

Mmm thats the cheapest they get. after a while they drop to $4.00 a day. I was on a big holiday to KL, i think it was supposed to be 13 days but ended up being 17. When i got back they said it was 4 bucks a day for additional days. i was stoked.

Its $4 a day after day 11, otherwise known as money for jam!

You dont pay money for your jam?

Well there still alot cheaper then the rip off parking at the airport. And i love the service. Alot of companies are missing that old fashion service that made you want to come back and use them.

I prefer the convenience of the airport carpark. With only carry on, I can pay the machine and be driving home whilst you are still waiting for your checked luggage and then waiting for your shuttle to take you to the carpark.

If I was going away for 2 weeks I would have someone drop me off or catch a cab

Agreed. Whilst I've used off site parking at BNE before, I really don't see the need at OOL.

It's no more than a couple of minutes walk to/from the car, and it's nowhere near as expensive as BNE.
