I've earned enough SC's to go from Gold to Platinum but two JetStar flights haven't posted to my account yet. Does this typically take a while?

The flights were:
30/9 Singapore to Darwin and 1/10 Darwin to Singapore. I was Y class (FlexFare) on both legs, so I'm expecting 40 SC's each.

If those SC's come through will I immediately get Platinum status? I'm booking flights to Singapore for the end of the month and would love to have use of the platinum benefits for that trip.

As soon as the points show up on your account, you instantly have status according to QF and OW (well, at least on your boarding passes) so it should work for boarding, points accrual and lounge access (except anytime access or certain instances where you are required to show a card).

I'm surprised JQ flights wouldn't have posted straight away. Definitely lodge a missing points claim and email scans of your boarding passes to the FF service centre email.

I was in the same situation, waiting for incredibly annoying LAN flights to post properly - they take time as it is, then are rejected due to a name mismatch, then require the above process to be completed, all of which was perfectly predictable but nonetheless was made no easier by the FF service centre who knew of the problem but were happy to let it play out rather than help me. Resulted in at least four flights where I was technically already WP, but unable to take advantage of that because the points hadn't been credited properly. Thankfully they weren't international flights, or I would have been really annoyed.

No anytime access while waiting either, which is a shame given it's a rapidly vanishing commodity! ;)

It has only been about a week. That us about how long it took for my jetstar flights to post and others have reported similar delays. I would wait until next week before claiming missing points.

Why wait, there is no restriction on when you can start to claim, especially if it will get you to the next level.

True there is no time limit. Just saying why claim when it is still within what seems to be the usual time for these flights to post.

May I offer an early congrats for getting to Platinum, even though you might not like what benefits you have for the second half of your membership ;)

The more people claiming, the more QF will realise that slow posting of points from an own group member generates unproductive work ;).

Of course, What was I thinking* :lol:

* clearly I wasn't thinking

Interestingly claiming missing CX points for a HKG-SYD flight 10 days ago, the form now only asks for the Ticket number, no requirement for boarding passes.
