Poll open 7 days from today - obviously most votes wins

Also, when you vote, include a message indicating weekend or weekday and how much you are prepared to spend

If you don't care, vote anyway

Victoria for me - weekday - up to $150 depending on course and options available such as a bar & bbq available included in price

Weekend is better (well actually the only option) and cost would max out at $150 as well (all up). I'd be happy to play in any State, just so long as I can tie it in with visiting clients and get the flights as a tax deduction...or will everybody remember my 4.5 hour session on financial markets and have it in their diary....

crikey...you'd be rewriting that presentation every day at the moment

Not fussed with dates.

Happy to spend up to $150 including lunch/booze :p

Budget/Location is no worries; but for me it weekends are far easier (being a contractor).

After my vote Queensland is ahead of Victoria 4 to 3 although New South Wales would also be a possible venue.

Unfortunately for me there are a few variables that need to be aligned. It has to be a weekend, not interfere with a social club golf club game, ideally I would like to keep the cost well under $100 and I need to be in the country at the time.

At this time the best time that would be suitable for me would have to be the Sunday after the FT AGM in February. I am thinking about taking my dad on a RTW trip in April/May so that is also out of the question.

Good luck with organising a golf game.

This poll closes tomorrow - voice your opinion! Lets make this golf torney a happening thing!!

Mr!

OK with voting now over what is the next step? Pick a venue and some random dates? Victoria Park Golf Course could be a good choice.

As the response to the poll has been low any dates picked may not yield many starters for the tournament. I hope I am wrong and it proves to be a success. Good luck....

You could always schedule it with a "Free Golf Day"*

Free Golf Days, www.freegolfdays.com.au

* A donation to Kid's Help Line is requested (and probably pushed heavily ;) ) ... plus of course the inevitable spam/calls from giving away personal details!

The 2 listed are down at Royal Pines (Gold Coast).

Yes, 19 Oct and 9 Nov..,

I would be into this but to get the best airfares I need a lot more notice,.

With the current sales, if an early 2009 date could be arranged then I would be very interested:D

Hello all and thanks to those who voted. I did hope VIC would come out tops however, QLD won so now it's time to move ahead and get things going.

I hope that non players will attend as well as players and we should have a good day! I have started requesting infor from courses in the BNE area, Brookwater is a real option at the moment.

Can I have a show of hands - week day or weekend please.

Mr!

:)
