Gonna be a plane load of unhappy campers at Adelaide Airport today...

Not as bad as Perth, but todays ADL-OLP flight QF2612, scheduled Adelaide1200 Olympic Dam 1330.

Departed at 1210, sort of arrived at OLP at 1335, but didn't land, turned and headed back to Adelaide. Took the captain 20 minutes before telling the passengers we were returnign to ADl due to a techincal problem. No catering on the return trip as they only had enough for the flight up. small tubs of water eventually found.

Plane lands in ADL, was resecreend even though we hadn't been anywhere other then the ADL airport and the plane.

Flight now scheduled to leave at 1815 with arrival into OLP at 1945 (over 6 hours late). $25 food and drink voucher to use in the meantime.

So as we have flown the route 3 times, should i get 3 sets of points and SC's?

Ah, Alliance. Gotta love'em.

I am guessing maybe an undercarriage problem that they didn't know about it until they were about to land? Was there any special precautions when landing in ADL?

Or maybe it was just that the onboard geiger counters were over the limit as they they circled over OD..........
