Good evening AFF,
A couple of scotches has decided that it is finally time for me to actually say hi, get rid of the yellow bar requesting that I pleaaaaaaaase make a first post and graduate from just liking messages I find myself nodding my head to throughout the forum.
Over the last year I have had the fortune of a fantastic new job which has (in combination with my personal travel) seen me transition from knocking on the door of QFF Gold, to now comfortably attaining VFF Platinum (with reasonable flexibility in fare/carrier selection) and start dipping my toes tentatively into the waters of hotel loyalty programs.
Based on number of flights, I probably look at my status credits very roughly coming from around 40% trans-con domestic Y flights, 20% Aus-Asia J, 20% Aus-Canada Y, and the remaining ~20% coming from misc domestic Y. Which I feel has so far given me a nice sample of various different services ... In the next year I have my fingers crossed to have a try of some Aus-Europe J.
Finally, I would like to thank the members of AFF .... There is such a phenomenal wealth of information here, and some truly generous members who make the wheels turn.
Cheers,
Dinsy
