  • Same day return flight to main land capital city on normal Qantas scheduled services.
  • Depart and return at Melbourne Domestic Terminal.
  • Minimum of 6 hours spent at destination.
  • Tickets are non refundable, no changes permitted.

  • Check-in one hour before departure.

Departing on Good Friday, this day tour begins with a continental breakfast onboard the Qantas flight from Melbourne. Coaches will await you at Canberra airport, ready to transport you to your first stop - a private tour of the Renaissance Exhibition at The National Gallery of Australia.
After this it's off to Parliament House where time has been allocated for lunch (at own expense), then finish the day browsing the Australian War Memorial.
At the end of your day, coaches will transfer you back to the airport. A snack service will be served onboard your Qantas flight home.

Includes admission to the NG, AWM and Parliament........aren't those things free anyway?

The actual exhibition at the National Gallery costs $25 for standard admission. All of the other sights are free.


Wonder if you're allowed to access the lounges with these tickets? I don't reckon you'll get the SCs.

Never been a problem in the past, accessed at MEL and BNE.

True.

Note:seat allocation has previously proved to be a problem with two travelling together; these flights have been priority-booked via 3AW and have only left singles when checking in at MEL. This year may be different - and in any case: good cause and it's only a quick hop to Canberra.
