Some pretty sharp pricing on EY J flights from MNL to a couple of cities in Europe. Seems to be centred around travel next month but other dates available.
GVA, MAD, DUB and CPH all sub AUD2.5K for return from MNL.

Pair with connecting Y daytime flights from SYD or MEL on PR for ~AUD1K more and I’d say you have an absolute bargain.

You'd just have to work out how to get from MNL to SYD or MEL, avoiding an overnight flight.

It won't be on PR.

Still, PR's prices in J aren't too bad. One way MNL-SYD in J is ca $2,500 on some days.

Bit of a workaround but if you aren’t time sensitive then PR has some great prices in J ex KUL and SIN to Australia.
KUL-MNL-MEL for instance is around $900. Can get a cheap Y or J ticket MNL-KUL and you are only looking at about $1200 for something like MNL-KUL-MNL-MEL 🤣

You see, sane people outside this forum don’t think like that…

What does PY and EY stand for Please

EY is Etihad Airlines.
If you mean PR, that is Philippine Airlines.

PY can also mean Premium Economy (because Y = economy; sometimes also written as Y+) if you are asking about that context.

i have a friend who's not a member here who's flying to KL and then booking separate tics from there last time EY, this time EK
KL, coughet are two places with some really decent current EY fares too
coughet F EY at $6,343 to London return

It’s a mixed fare though if you weren’t aware. Only the legs to and from LHR will have F but still great value
thanks for the pickup
compared to the just J price $4,774, yes, its a pretty good deal

See I look at this and think of flying Cebu Pacific for $320 SYD-MNL return in Y to connect on to EY J, and maybe paying for an extra legroom seat. Feel like I'm really in the minority here... :P.

3-3-3 A333s holding 436 passengers though does make my stomach churn a little. They do have A330NEOs though which is kinda cool.

As an aside, its often cheaper to fly EY into IST - can get as low as $2.2k

I've just booked MNL-AUH-FCO-GVA return in EY Business (W class) for US$1,588 (approx AU$2,450) for July next year.

FCO-GVA-FCO is on ITA and the layovers at each port are relatively short (2-3 hours). Booked directly on EY website and the 400 VA SC's will be handy in retaining VA Platinum in 2025.

Seems like a pretty good price, especially as I already had MEL-SIN booked in JQ biz. I was planning a slightly different trip in July, but couldn't go past this EY fare as it got me to where I wanted to go anyway.

Are the ITA segments EY-coded ?

Those segments will not earn anything on Velocity but could be good to claim those one via Etihad Guest to get some points otherwise not-claimable via Virgin.

No, they appear to just ITA flight numbers. Not a problem for me, as I'm also an ITA Gold, so hopefully will earn points there. It's only a few hundred kilometers anyway.

Edit: However, the are slightly lower cost options of this itinerary without the ITA flights (EY to GVA), but I didn't fancy a 21-hour layover in AUH.
