Most of the sites are now showing 0% cash back for IHG stays, with MrRebates joining the trend overnight, wonder how long before Ebates goes?

Ebates gone now as well.

What does this mean for current bookings? IIRC markis10, you were going to cash in on the NYE stay at HI Old Sydney? I would assume they would still eligible but you never know...

Good question, I hope they still pay, keen to make a profit from NYE.

Had a stay with CP last weekend, just waiting for cash on ebates to go through either today or tomorrow. Will let you know if they (ebates cash) happen.

The two main UK sites (TopCashBack and Quidco) removed them a month or so ago. IIRC, Quidco indicated outstanding claims would be paid.

Had been using Ebates since, but is a shame it has also gone.

Any ideas on reason(s)?

IHG are no longer working with commission junction on this marketing program, just like most of the other hotel chains. At least Accor and Sheraton are there, as is Hilton if your a UK resident.

Ebates are still paying out for bookings made pre canning the system. just got my money thru into my account for a stay last weekend which was booked a couple of weeks ago

Is this possibly just to do with the rebranding of PC to IHG rewards? I just wonder if they are changing commission structures with travel agents as well and changing the mechanism to do so..... I understand IHG rewards is only to do with their points schemes, but I just hope it's just one big corporate rebranding exercise that is occurring over multiple parts of the business that will include a return of the rebates schemes.

Has anyone gone to a bricks and morter travel agent to see if they also have had their commissions altered or removed?
