Greek islands in July 2011

Hi all,

Looking at 2 week trip to Greek Islands in July.
Last time I was there was with "Contiki" and Mykonos Island in May(off season)
Jumped up top on boat transfer and accom all done by them.

So 3 people this time.
Recommend island...thinking Santorini
Which Island?
Where and how to book accom?
Boat transfer as I figure need to depart from Athens?

Looking at Greeka.com it seemed $250AU a night was the rate any tips to get that down?
