Guess I'm going to Cairns tomorrow! QF Lounge any good?

I'm flying WGA-SYD-DRW tomorrow ... well, I was, until my WGA-SYD flight was cancelled sometime this evening (yay) ... so it looks like I'm now going to be flying WGA-SYD-CNS-DRW (the only other direct SYD-DRW flight tomorrow was too late for me to connect to and get there at a reasonable time).

Any suggestions on how to kill a couple of hours in Cairns? What's the QP like?

The QP is pretty good, upstairs from the food court area, out of the way up a set of escalators. They had lychees in the breakfast service about 3 or 4 weeks ago. probably tinned, but i liked them much, nevertheless.

Not at 6PM, it gets quite busy at that time of the day, at least the OP is getting extra SC's, and I like the 717s even if you do get a stop at Gove on one of the two flights.

Many thanks for the comments guys, but it's turned out to be a bit of a moot point.

Not only did fog cause the cancellation of my original 06:30 WGA departure (aircraft on the last flight last night couldn't land and went back to Sydney apparently!), but it also delayed my revised 10:00 departure to about 13:00 ... hence I missed the CNS flight.

I'm currently cooling my heels in the T3 QP waiting for Plan C - the 19:40 SYD-DRW direct flight I was hoping to avoid (gets to DRW at 23:45)

Cairns will have to wait for another day!
