Forgive me if this is a foolish question. Out of pure happenstance I will be crossing paths in SYD with a friend I haven't seen in some time. She is flying in (with a connecting international flight the next day) a couple of hours before I am flying out of SYD. We are talking about catching up in the terminal. Thing is because of the recent double status offer I decided to fly premium economy. I was looking forward to trying out the lounge. As a recent post rebranding convert, I have no experience with the lounge and the particular rules attached to it. I am wondering as a PE traveler will I be able to bring my friend as a guest into the lounge, as someone not travelling on virgin? I can see this on the on the entry and access page (Post count is too low to post link)

"Each time you enter the Virgin Australia lounge, you may invite one Guest to join you at no charge. Your Guests do not need to be travelling with Virgin Australia to join you."

But that appears to be for members of the lounge. So can anyone shed some light on where PE passengers stand in that respect.

You don't get guest privileges as a PE passenger.

I've tried, they let it happen but made it clear we weren't entitled to it.
