I was looking at US Air's earn partner page, and saw that you could credit Qantas flights to the US Air Divident Miles program!

Has anyone considered doing this? US Air is in Star Alliance, so you could consolidate both Qantas and *A flights into just one program!

Is there some catch to this, like you can only credit flights to/from the US?

US Air's redemption thresholds are very attractive, being comparable to the new United thresholds, and hence some of the best remaining.

So am I missing something here? Or is US Air Dividend Miles a great place to credit Qantas and Star Alliance flights?

In my excitement I skipped over a footnote stating exactly that:
1. Travel must originate and tickets must be purchased and issued in North America.
2. Miles may be earned for flights between North America and Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and New Guinea.

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..."

Sorry about getting people's hopes up
