The only experience we have had with this is once when I accidentally ticked DG rather than no DG. Even a phone call was not able to resolve the situation and check in had to be completed at the airport.

Strange.Tried again this morning-T-5 and no problems.not many seats left to choose but she can get 4D.

Probably too late now but FWIW i also had a few issues last week but all that the ground staff could tell was that the booking engine had had a moment and couldnt check me in... I guess it happens - after all they are just a computer program. Hope MrsDrRon got what she wanted!

Does anyone know whether OLCI works with DJ at home if you have no printer? Tried once but didn't look like you could complete the whole process thereby having to wait until you arrived at the airport.

JQ and QF are different in that boarding pass downloads into an Adobe doc which you can always save to a memory stick and print out at a net cafe if you have no printer at home.

Failing that with JQ or QF you can always front up to the airport and get in the OLCI queue (generally shorter than the normal queue) and tell them you checked in at home but couldn't print. You are still showing as having been checked in so airport staff just do a boarding pass reprint of seats you selected online.

You certainly can... I've done it a few times - just coz the window pops doesn't mean you have to do anything with it. Its still stored in their system as that you've checked in. Having said that they aren't too impressed with having to print it out again but they get over it.

I have done this a number of times. No problem asking for a boarding pass at the airport....
