I am pretty sure (not 100%) that BA is the only airline that uses T5 hence you would have a choice of BA or BA. :)

There is a Galleries business lounge (for J class and OWS) at South, North, and at the T5B satellite. Also a Galleries F lounge (for F and OWE) at South (and a CCR, but that is essentially only for BA F pax).

I have used the business North and South and while there is something of a layout difference, I don't recall anything major to differentiate them from each other (someone else may) so I suppose lounge choice would be best determined by proximity to whichever gate you leave from.

Are you transferring from the Qf flight?
Im doing QF1 to the BA flight to VCE in a few weeks so would be interested in how you get on and which you use and how tight the connection is. I read some thread on here about delays in Heathrow.

Five BA lounges in Terminal 5.

Concorde Room (Not accessible to a QF Gold heading to Venice unless coming off a BA long-haul flight in F)
T5 South First (Not accessible to a QF Gold heading to Venice unless coming off a OW long-haul flight in F)
T5 South Galleries (Accessible.)
T5 North Galleries (Accessible. )
T5B Galleries (Accessible. Go there if your flight is from the B or C gates, is ok, but I find it much quieter and food doesn't get rotated as much as the other Two lounges)

As tuapekastar commented, the North/South lounges are fairly similar.

There is now a 3rd party lounge in T5. Either paid or some cards such as Priority Pass gets you admission : https://www.prioritypass.com/en/Lou...row/LHR14-Aspire-The-Lounge-and-Spa-at-LHR-T5

Also, Iberia now has flights out of T5 - but irrelevant for a flight to Venice.

Last year at LHR, BA ground crew suggested to me that T5 Galleries South was usually quieter than T5 Galleries North.

Not surprising. North is directly after North security, whereas South is a few mins walk from either North or South security. So if a BA Silver (OWS) enters via North security, they will usually choose that lounge.
